Stunning Trullo conversion – Puglia

Trullo Carnevale is spread across the main house and the original trullo that has been converted and restored.

The layout of the main house is extremely congenial to holiday living due to the large gazebo area with huge glass windows that allow the interiors to flow outside. All on one floor, the main house is organised around a central hub – an open plan kitchen, living and dining area complete with well-equipped features.

The kitchen has been sympathetically built with bespoke handcrafted furniture with all worktops made from Puglian stone. Functional in the summer and cosy in the winter with underfloor heating, a round table for dining and sofa area for television and relaxing. The kitchen is large enough for everyone to enjoy cooking the wonderful produce of Puglia – for which the region is famous for.

Glass doors open on to a generously proportioned inside/outside sitting room which offers a table sufficient for 10 people to eat in the with full view of the garden, the trullo and the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is also a further small seated area with a cosy fireplace for relaxed seating

Off this is a lavanderia, which has a washing machine, tumble dryer and second drinks fridge.

There are three bedrooms in the main house:

Bedroom 1 : Double bedroom with separate en-suite washroom. A unique and romantic outside veranda with a luxurious sofa seated area and curtained freestanding bath tub.

Bedroom 2 : Comfortable double bedroom with en-suite shower room

Bedroom 3 : A “snug” double bedroom with en-suite shower room. This last bedroom is the simplest. Both bedroom 2 and 3 share an outside terrace with beautiful carved African furniture to relax and read. A perfect area for a family to enjoy with separate access from the rest of the main house.

Bedroom 4 – The Trullo : Approximately 30m away from the main house in the garden is the converted trullo, full of character and sensitively restored home to a double bedroom and en-suite shower room.

Each bedroom features high vaulted ceilings and separate bathrooms. All bedrooms fully airconditioned and all of the beds have Egyptian cotton sheets. We also supply hair dryers at the villa.

Trullo Carnevale’s unique feature is its amazing abundant outdoor amenities. In front of the house, al fresco living is generously catered for – there is a huge gazebo, perfect for entertaining, relaxing, eating, drinking and dancing!

The outside kitchen is fully equipped with a wood burning pizza oven, grill and a traditional barbecue. The kitchen can easily handle large scale catering with fridges, dishwasher and sink.

Whether you are lounging by the pool, dining al fresco late into the afternoon or snoozing in the comfort of the dreamy day sofa beds (that we imported from Kenya!) – life at Carnevale is both relaxing and revitalising.

The price of the villa includes all linen, towels, pool towels, pool heating, sunbeds and cleaning either end of your stay.
