The house is very comfortable, and has recently been refurbished. It has been created as a home rather than a rental so guests can expect to find the odd photograph on the wall. The living area is very much open open plan, but with living spaces inside, outside, upstairs and downstairs - no-one ever feels on top of each other. The guests have access to the whole house , other than the housekeepers quarters which are separate and not shown. Some cupboards are locked for storage.
