Head's Up
Cranleigh is a school where children are encouraged to give their best in the classrooms and explore opportunities where they can make a contribution to the wider school community. Teamwork, empathy, resilience and a sense of service are traits we aim to foster.

The inside track from a current parent
The school has such amazing facilities which the children are able to take full advantage of throughout their day. The teachers are all supportive of the children and the carrot system really encourages the children to get stuck in with their work. So far my son has tried out street dancing, Judo and is now playing the drums – the opportunities seem endless.
As parents we love...
- The headmaster is such an asset to the school – he is always smiling and the children love him. The teachers are always available whether by email or a coffee and a chat, we are always up to date with what’s going on and our child’s progress. The sport – the children are encouraged to try all the sports and change every half term, a great way to try things you may not of thought you would enjoy. The coaches are really great to and give the kids confidence.
As pupils we love...
- The five aside football pitch – every opportunity the kids are out there organising their teams and sorting tournaments. The lunch is always a winner. The reward systems are always a talked about subject which is also great because I am getting to hear all about my sons day.
What makes us different
A blend of tradition and innovation ensures a perfect atmosphere for our boys and girls, who learn, play and compete together in every area of school life. Our daily timetable and boarding environment provide the time for pupils to pursue their studies, sport, creative arts and much more.
Our academic programme is designed to be stimulating and challenging with pupils responding to the encouragement and care of our staff, establishing a love of learning. A well-established House system introduces the fun of lively competition and develops bonds across the year groups.
We put the experience of each and every child at the heart of everything we do.
