The inside track from a current parent
Both my children have spent two extremely happy years at the wonderful Dawmouse Montessori Nursery . I can’t fault a single thing especially the fabulous teachers who couldn’t have given my boys a better start to their education.
Having looked round various nurseries we knew the moment we walked into Dawmouse that this was where we wanted to send the children. The nursery has a loving and calm atmosphere but manages to get the best out of every child. The Montessori method is taught by the energetic teachers who are constantly coming up with new, exciting and interesting topics all whilst extending the children’s knowledge. Old fashioned manners, kindness and learning new independent skills are encouraged daily.
There is a large outdoor playground (rare in this part of London) with the added bonus of an indoor gym space for rainy days meaning the children can always burn off some of their energy!
Highlights include the weekly sport, music and cookery classes, the amazing Nativity, Easter concert, cake sales, the annual trip to Bocketts Farm and the wonderful sports day.

What makes us different
Dawmouse Montessori Nursery Schools are based in Fulham SW6 and have been established there for over 30 years. The Principal, Miss Emma, has owned the schools for 26 years. Dawmouse Brunswick is in Brunswick Club in Haldane Road and Dawmouse St. Peters is based in the St. Peter’s Church Hall in St Peter’s Terrace.
Dawmouse Montessori Schools has been educating children from ages two to five for many years. With well-resourced classrooms, an outdoor area and a spacious indoor play area, we are fully equipped to nurture your child’s physical, emotional and intellectual development. We follow the Early Learning Goals alongside our Montessori teaching at Dawmouse Montessori Nursery Schools.
We offer Music and Sports lessons every week with our visiting teachers alongside our vibrant Montessori programme which is constantly changing to challenge our pupils. We also have Easter and Christmas concerts alongside whole school trips to the theatre and to a local farm. Every child is valued at Dawmouse and we calmly work with them to develop and grow in our purposely designed Montessori environment.
We encourage all prospective children and parents to visit us to look and feel what the school can offer their children.
