How to help your child successfully pass their ISEB exams

In the run up to the ISEBs, familiarising your child with the ISEB exam format and helping them get in as much practice as possible is the best way to help them succeed. Heritage Education, our trusted education partner, is offering a special School Notices promotion on their Online Academic Assessment for ISEB exams. Find out how this tool can help your children gain valuable insight into where they’re currently at and what their potential is for these important exams.

The ISEB Assessment tool in a nutshell…

Heritage Education’s Online Assessment follows a very similar pattern to the ISEB Pre-Test – a computerised online test in English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning which evaluates children from ages 6-16 years old and compares candidates results against their peers.

It’s a one-off test that gives a full breakdown of results into different subject areas. Your child will also be given an overall score, adjusting it for age and placing their score on a scale that compares performance against other candidates within the independent school sector and as well as the national average.

How it will help your child prepare:

The assessment is a very useful for Year 6 candidates who are about to sit their ISEB for Senior Schools as it offers a great opportunity to have a dry run and familiarise themselves with a computerised online test.

The large amount of data drawn from the completed test, and the detailed feedback and guidance delivered by the team at Heritage Education, will highlight strengths and also subject areas that need improvement.

For Year 5 candidates the assessment will offer an understanding into your child’s current academic profile. This will help you identify which schools would potentially be suitable for you child and also enable you to start getting them prepared in good time for the pre-test.

Their exclusive offer:

Heritage Education’s normal price for their online academic assessment with one-to-one online feedback and advice is £540, but for School Notices members they are offering an exclusive discounted price of £450!
