Here come the Girls!
Elstree School announced last year that it was becoming fully co-educational from September 2020. Girls are already in Nursery to Year 3, but can now join the Prep School and stay until the end of Year 8.
Come and join Elstree at their Girls’ Discovery Morning and lunch on Saturday 7th March. The first ten girls who then enrol for a place in September 2020, will be offered the Elstree Pioneer Award*
“Elstree’s Pioneer Award recognises Prep School girls who will help promote Elstree’s positive move to becoming fully co-educational. As our ambassadors, they will benefit from an Elstree education that nurtures our core values and lasts a lifetime.” – Sid Inglis, Headmaster
The Discovery Morning is open to those currently in Years 2, 3 and 4. On the day, girls and their families can experience the Elstree way of life, see the school, talk to staff and meet other parents. Headmaster Sid Inglis will share his wider vision for the school in his ‘Nurturing the Future’ presentation.
The taster session starts at 10.00am and finishes at 1.30pm. Girls will be given a dance lesson, spend time on the trampoline, and make something to take home in design and technology.
Parents are welcome to ‘drop and run’, or stay for a tour of the school. Refreshments will be served again at 12pm, followed by a buffet lunch for girls and their families.
Friends, sisters and cousins are also welcome, but as activities are age appropriate, they will also need to be in Years 2, 3 or 4.
* Offered on a first-come-first served basis, this award equates to a 50% reduction of School’s day fees only for the duration of the pupil’s time at the School
