WANTED – A French bolt-hole!

Off-Season Village Bolt-Hole Sought in SW France

We are an active, responsible couple in our mid-60’s looking to rent a nicely furnished traditional 2 double bedroom cottage or ground-floor flat in a vibrant village in SW France between Auch, Pau and Biarritz.

We would like to be able to rent for about a month at a time, in the Autumn and again in the Spring. We foresee being able to do this year-on-year for a few years to do some proper in-depth exploring of the area we would like to get to know better.

Our thoughts are that this arrangement would be an interesting way for the pair of us to have a comfy long-term base whilst exploring, and two double bedrooms would give us a nice amount of room for our longer ‘working visits’.

Three extremely well-trained gundogs would love to accompany us if they were welcome, as well, so a garden would be a plus.
