Congratulations to Chrissie Elworthy from Ludgrove School who has won our Summer Sunuva competition!

Her childrens’ awesome designs for rash vests have only gone and won them £200 of Sunuva vouchers PLUS a £100 cheque going back to The Ludgrove Foundation. Not one but three talented artists!

If you’re planning an October half term holibobs to sunnier climes, Sunuva’s founders Emily and Sabrina share some great top sun safety tips:

★ Don’t forget to apply sunscreen 15-30 mins before going out in the sun.

★ Always choose a high protection SPF 30 or more to protect against UVB and look for the UVA circle logo and/or 4 or 5 UVA stars to protect against UVA.

★ Wear protective clothing in addition to sunscreen such as a sun protective rash vest from Sunuva, sunglasses and a hat that protects your ears and neck.

★ Seek shade between 11am and 3pm when the sun is at its hottest.

★ Re-apply sunscreen every two hours or after swimming and sports activities.
